What happened to Colorado Speed Company?
On June 1, 2020 Green Pastures Motors opened its doors to the public. But, the dream of GP Motors has been several years in the making. What began as Colorado Speed Company, a vehicle repair and restoration facility, has been phased out into two new business ventures - Green Pastures Motors and Jet Set Automobiles. Our newly remodeled facility at the 2155 Broadway Street location reflects this new business model.
Green Pastures Motors is our new luxury car storage facility that provides a solution for car enthusiasts looking to store their high-end vehicles in Colorado Springs. GP Motors was established to enrich the luxury car owning experience with full concierge services, convenient online vehicle management, and membership perks. Our highly qualified team stores, maintains, and cares for a wide variety of high-caliber vehicles.
The same dedicated, experienced, and knowledgeable team from Colorado Speed Company has transitioned into their new roles on the Green Pastures Motors team. Clint Romero, former president of Colorado Speed Company, is now the manager of GP Motors. With over 30 years of experience, Clint is knowledgeable in all aspects of the automotive industry and he is ready to lead his team in this new business venture as they provide luxury storage and luxury service to the Colorado Springs community.
Jet Set Automobiles is a neighboring restoration shop, offering services similar to Colorado Speed Company with one significant change. They have refined their focus and now give their undivided attention to one or two projects at a time. Jet Set Automobiles was not intended to replace Colorado Speed Company, and with a wait list of projects already established, they are not accepting any other clients at this time
